A plane full of Russian tourists flying from Egypt to Kaliningrad made an emergency landing in Poznań, Poland. The Polish airport refused to refuel the plane and did not give permission to take off.

This was reported by Russian media on the morning of February 16. They complained that the Russian flight UJ681 had been waiting for takeoff for more than ten hours, and that more than two hundred passengers were running out of water and food.

The plane with the Russians was flying from Sharm el-Sheikh to Kaliningrad. At night, it was unable to land at Kaliningrad's Khrabrovo airport due to heavy snowfall.

The crew requested an emergency landing in Poland, and now they are refused refuel and takeoff.

One of the Russian women told the media that she has been waiting for more than ten hours for UJ681 to take off.

According to her, the food and water on board are almost gone, and they are not allowed to use the toilet.

There are 236 passengers on board, including pregnant women and children.

At the same time, people at the Kaliningrad airport have been waiting for a flight to Sharm el-Sheikh for more than ten hours.
