Video of Ukraine's new border sign being installed on Snake Island has appeared online
The State Border Service of Ukraine has shown a video of the moment of a border sign being installed on the de-occupied Snake Island in the Black Sea. This happened on August 12.
The press service released the video on the morning of August 13. The video is published on the official Facebook account of the State Security Service of Ukraine (to see the record, scroll to the end of the page).
It is noted that the servicemen of the Izmail border detachment landed on the island with the support of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The head of the State National Security Service of Ukraine Major General Serhiy Deineko helped install the sign.
The previous border sign was destroyed by Russian invaders during the occupation of the island.
