To see the consequences of Russian aggression with his own eyes: Foreign Ministry invites Wang Yi to Ukraine

Ukraine has invited Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to visit the country so that he can personally see the consequences of Russian aggression. This should also facilitate deeper bilateral negotiations.

This was announced on Tuesday at a briefing by the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhii Tykhyi. He emphasized that this is not just a formal invitation, but a real offer.

"Yes, we invited him, and it was not just a formal invitation, which is usually made during any visit, but a "real invitation." We are ready to welcome Minister Wang Yi to Ukraine so that he can see with his own eyes the consequences of Russian aggression against our country and to have deeper bilateral conversations with him on a number of regional and bilateral issues," Tykhyi said.

He also noted that the dialogue between Ukraine and China will continue, and the Chinese side has shown interest in this proposal.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the good results of Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba's visit to China. Beijing will not supply weapons to Russia. In addition, China recognizes the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, in March of this year, China's Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui visited Ukraine as part of a "diplomatic tour" and met with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities.

He and members of the Chinese delegation were shown the wreckage of a downed North Korean missile and told how Russia uses components from third countries to produce weapons.
