"This changes the situation": Zelensky thanked the Defense Forces for the destruction of Russian weapons depots and appealed to partners

In Tikhoretsk in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian defenders destroyed an occupier's ammunition depot today. Earlier, Ukraine successfully attacked the largest bomb and missile depot in the entire war in Toropets, Russia. These are significant events in the war unleashed by the aggressor country.

This is the opinion of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. That is why President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky began his traditional address to the country by thanking our soldiers for their accuracy.

"Accuracy in the enemy's territory. This is what changes the situation fundamentally - our ability to bring the war back home to Russia," he said.

The President emphasized that the above-mentioned strikes were carried out "thanks to our capabilities, our weapons", "without the means that can be provided by partners and which can significantly accelerate the end of this war".

"If we could direct all our accuracy to protect our state, if we had enough missiles and permits that our partners could provide, the overall situation in the war would be much better for our security - for the security of Ukraine and everyone in the world who does not want to exist in the conditions of such aggressions as this Russian one," Zelensky said.

Therefore, Ukraine "will continue to talk about this next week": our defenders "need full range capability."

The next week, Zelensky believes, could be "largely decisive for stopping Russian terror." Obviously, he is referring to the UN General Assembly.

"For this to happen, the determination of our partners must match the courage of Ukrainians. The answer to the question "When will this war end?" is actually when the determination of our partners keeps pace with what we can do to protect us, to secure our independence, to win," the President noted.

Traditionally, the Head of State thanked all the military in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia, and throughout the south. He particularly noted the 46th separate airmobile brigade, the 68th Dovbush ranger brigade and the 425th separate assault battalion in the Pokrovsk sector. The 65th separate mechanized brigade in the Orikhiv sector and the 35th separate marine brigade in the Prydniprovia sector were also recognized by Zelensky.

The president also recognized the Special Operations Center "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine, which "together with every soldier, sergeant, and officer is fighting on the enemy's territory in the Kursk region of Russia."

"Our active actions there have exactly the impact on the frontline situation that we need in Ukraine right now," the Supreme Commander-in-Chief believes.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Kurin "Skipper", commander of the Russian Airborne Assault Regiment, was killed in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The Russian officer joined the list of the "two hundredth" occupiers, and this was a "great loss" for the Russian airborne troops.
