"They have enough resources": 3rd Assault Brigade warns of Russian offensive in one more direction
Maksym Zhorin, deputy commander of the Third Separate Assault Brigade and former commander of the Azov Regiment, warned of the danger of a new Russian offensive in the southern part of the frontline in Ukraine. The occupiers have enough resources for this.
On his Telegram, the military noted that the risks are serious, as this direction is very important for the Russians. They will try to expand the corridor, the commander is convinced.
"In fact, their resources are quite enough to conduct offensive actions, for example, in the South. And here I personally see quite serious risks because this is a very important direction for them," he wrote.
"The enemy cannot allow the corridor to be narrowed and, accordingly, interrupt its logistics with Crimea, so they will try to expand it," Zhorin said.
He also said that in the Kharkiv sector, the occupiers are currently replenishing their units with mostly "naked" infantry.
"That is, some command of the advancing brigade or division remains, it is given several infantry battalions and immediately sent to assault," the commander noted.
However, the main problem is the enemy's widespread use of drops. The occupiers have recently concentrated on this type of destruction and are terrorizing Ukrainian defenders.
As a reminder, former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko, said that the occupiers are apparently gathering reserves to continue fighting in the East, as well as in the Kharkiv sector. In addition, strike forces are being formed in the Zaporizhzhia sector, where the occupiers are likely to seek to regain the positions lost in 2023 and reach the city of Zaporizhzhia.
