"There are no changes": Shoigu tried to justify Balitsky's statement about "tactical withdrawal" from Robotine

Shoigu said that the Russian Armed Forces did not escape from Robotine, as Balitsky had assured him

The Russian Defense Ministry has attempted to justify itself after the statement by the gauleiter of the occupied part of Zaporizhzhya Region, Yevhen Balitskyy, about the "tactical abandonment" of the Robotine village by Russian troops. In the reports of the department headed by Sergei Shoigu, the "second army of the world" continues to "repel attacks" in the area of Robotine and Verbove.

The occupiers assure that there are "no changes in the tactical position of Russian troops" in Zaporizhzhya. This is stated in an "operational summary" published by the Russian Defense Ministry at 12:32 a.m. on September 6.

"On the Zaporizhzhya direction, units of the Russian grouping of troops, supported by aviation, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems, repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Verbove and Robotine in the Zaporizhzhya region. There are no changes in the tactical position of the Russian troops," the occupants of the Russian Defense Ministry assure.

This statement came after Moscow-appointed "acting governor" of the occupied part of Zaporizhzhya region, Yevgeny Balitsky, issued that Russian troops had "tactically" fled Robotine.

"The Russian army tactically left this settlement, because holding on to a bare plane, when there is no possibility to dig in completely, <...> generally speaking, does not seem expedient. Therefore, the Russian army withdrew to the hills," Balitsky said.

The traitor also claimed that Robotine was "a settlement that remained only on the map." According to him, now allegedly the Ukrainian military is now at the bottom, and the Russian forces have taken the commanding heights, and "such a position suits them."

Map of military operations in Robotine area

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported on August 28 that Robotine had been liberated from the occupants and that the AFU was advancing towards Novoprokopivka and Ocheretuvate. However, for several days after this statement there was confusion among Russian propagandists: while some were tearing their hair out over the loss of the village, others were convinced that there was still "fighting" in the village.
