On the night of Tuesday, October 15, Russian troops fired ballistic missiles at Mykolaiv. Several large explosions occurred in the city, causing fires, killing one person and injuring at least 16.
Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, said on his Telegram channel that some of the injured are in serious condition. The explosions were heard around 02:30.
Preliminary, the aggressor hit the city with S-300 ballistic missiles. An infrastructure facility, a restaurant complex, trade pavilions, residential buildings and cars were damaged. Fires broke out at the sites of the hits.
"Liquidation measures are underway. A woman was killed in the shelling, 16 people were wounded, three of them received outpatient care," Kim said.
The SES specialists extinguished the fires on the areas of 30 and 400 square meters. As of 08:00, they also localized and continued to extinguish the fire in the restaurant complex on the area of 1400 square meters.
The monitoring channel "Mykolaiv Vanek" clarified that one of the enemy's hits hit a private residential building, where a fire broke out. Local channels reported that there were at least five explosions and they were heard in different parts of the city.
According to the OVA, last night, three Shakhtys were destroyed by air defense forces in Mykolaiv region.

- Russian troops attacked the port of Odesa with ballistic missiles. The attack killed one person and injured eight others. Civilian vessels were damaged: the Palau-flagged OPTIMA and the Belize-flagged NS Moon.
- In the evening of October 12, the Russian army launched two ballistic missiles at Odesa region. The JFO reported that there were wounded as a result of the Russian strike.
- The occupiers carried out a drone attack on a civilian car near Havrylivka in the Kherson region. The strike killed two people and injured two others.
