On the morning of Friday, November 8, Russia launched a missile attack on Kyiv and the region. The falling debris of the downed enemy targets caused damage and four casualties.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. The head of the department, Ruslan Kravchenko, emphasized that the victims were car drivers who were in a car near the place where the debris fell.

"The men received injuries of varying degrees. One of them is in serious condition, two others are in moderate condition. The other one received light injuries. All are being provided with the necessary medical care. The injured are being hospitalized in a local hospital," he said.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs added that six private houses and four cars were damaged as a result of the Russian attack in the capital region. Also, a grass flooring and the premises of an inactive gas station caught fire.

Both fires have been extinguished. All specialized services were working on the ground.

Rescuers clarified that a metal trailer was on fire in Obukhiv district as a result of falling debris. The fire was extinguished at 06:00.

The SES specialists also worked to eliminate the fuel spill from four damaged trucks that were located nearby on a separate concrete platform.

As a reminder, at about 05:00 on Friday, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a missile moving in the direction of Kyiv, as well as attack drones from Poltava to Kyiv region. Monitoring channels noted that the enemy is attacking the capital region with cruise missiles that change direction. The explosions in Kyiv and the region were heard around 05:25-05:30.

"Well, you heard. Now these missiles are minus. Most likely, it was X-69, but we will clarify when we look at the wreckage (there is a version of Iskander-K)," Mykolaiv Vanek wrote on Telegram.
