The main issue is logistics: Selezniov predicts when American aid will arrive at the front. Video
After all the necessary documents on military aid to Ukraine from the United States have been approved and the Pentagon has announced it, American ammunition and equipment should be expected to arrive at the frontline in Ukraine "within the next two to three weeks." The fact is that what has been delivered to Ukraine still needs to be brought to the front line.
Vladyslav Selezniov, a military expert, journalist, colonel, and former speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told OBOZ.Talk. That is why, according to him, the enemy has recently begun to attack railway junctions.
Selezniov reminded that out of the $61 billion in military and technical assistance signed by the American leader, the first billion was "transformed into military equipment and ammunition," and the Pentagon stated that the vast majority of these products were already at bases in Poland and Germany.
"And here, of course, there are certain issues related to transportation safety, because it is obvious that the enemy is literally watching the movement of such cargo or military echelons. It is extremely important for him to slow down this process as much as possible, because every charge that arrives at the front will kill Russian soldiers. That is why it is no coincidence that the number of missile arrivals at our railway stations in Kharkiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions has increased recently," noted the colonel.
However, according to Selezniov, Ukrainian logisticians are looking for other ways to deliver important cargo for our military.
"This process can be implemented to a sufficient extent within the next two, maybe three weeks, it is obvious," the expert predicts. Selezniov also notes that during the entire period of waiting for the delivery of the cargo, "the Russian Federation will attack our positions on a large scale."
In turn, Ukrainian defenders promise the invaders heat.
The expert also explained the logic behind the choice of targets in the occupied Crimea. Selezniov confirmed the flights to the air defense facilities in the north, west and center of the Ukrainian peninsula.
"Our scouts are conducting reconnaissance and reconnaissance of the area, giving clear targeting instructions to Ukrainian missile system operators, who are hitting exactly where they need to hit. The enemy is suffering losses and will suffer more, because it is obvious that before implementing the mission to destroy enemy military facilities in Crimea and Sevastopol (and there are 232 of them, by the way, and all of them are legitimate targets), it is necessary to destroy the air defense system first," Selezniov said.
As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, after the news of almost daily explosions in Russia-occupied Crimea, propagandists began to lure their tourists to vacation with sweet discounts. In some places, prices have dropped by up to 50%, and for some people, the vacation can even be free (especially since there is a chance to get to a Kobzon concert).
