The Russian invaders who took part in the offensive in the Kharkiv region refused to storm the village of Ohirtseve. They explained their refusal by the fact that their company commander was behaving crazy and did not take into account their losses.

The occupiers wrote about this in explanatory notes to their battalion commander. They were found on the already eliminated Russian soldiers near the village of Starytsia, Kharkiv region, Unian reports.

"The reason for the refusal of this order is that the company commander was in an inadequate state, did not report the real situation, did not assess the risks," the aggressor country's military wrote.

He added that their company commander did not pay attention to the fact that the 1st and 4th platoons, which had earlier stormed the Ukrainian postitions, were unsuccessful and "most likely killed."

The invaders' explanations are dated May 11, 2024.
