The Russian occupation troops in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, were trapped. The city is taken under the fire control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Colonel General Oleksandr Syrsky, commander of the Ground Forces of the AFU, said this on Telegram. He, in particular, noted that the soldiers of the 77th separate airmobile brigade effectively worked out and destroyed the Russians. The position of the enemy and their ATGM was discovered by aerial reconnaissance (to see the video, scroll to the end of the news).

"The work continues. On the Bakhmut direction the enemy is knocked out of positions," noted the general.
