"Replenishing stockpiles": Air Force speaker explained why Russia uses missiles to strike Ukraine less frequent

Ihnat explained the rare mass attacks

Yurii Ihnat, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, noted that Russian troops have reduced the frequency of missile attacks on Ukraine due to the need to stockpile them. If the occupiers had a sufficient number of warheads, they would strike our cities at least every day several times a day.

He said this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Dmytro Gordon. Intelligence has reported to the Defense Forces that the enemy has managed to accumulate about 900 missiles of various types.

"If this data is correct, the Russian army approached the winter with half the number of warheads than last winter. That is why they are holding on to them. So far, we cannot say what are the reasons for this," the spokesman for the Air Force Command emphasized.

According to Ihnat, weather conditions significantly affect the operation of air defense systems. During low temperatures and precipitation, it is necessary to maintain equipment more carefully and prevent icing.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Defense Forces gave a powerful rebuff to the invaders who tried to attack in the Kupiansk-Lyman direction. At present, the intensity of attacks in the direction of Kupiansk has somewhat decreased, the invaders are more active in the area of Lyman and Bakhmut.
