Putin's army should not be under any illusions: Selezniov voices forecast for Pokrovske direction

The Russian occupation army still considers the Pokrovske direction to be the highest priority and is throwing all available forces here, despite the enormous losses. However, the enemy's resources are beginning to run out, and it has to fight in uncomfortable conditions.

This forecast was voiced by military expert Vladyslav Selezniov in an exclusive interview with OBOZ.UA. "There is no reason to say that the enemy has enough resources to conduct active offensive actions over the next few months," he said.

The expert acknowledged that the occupation army has an advantage in manpower, artillery, and aviation, and "it is difficult for us to fight this component of the enemy." At the same time, the capabilities of the occupation army are decreasing.

"It can be stated that the strategic reserves of the Russian army are exhausted, the operational reserves are also coming to an end, and the level of the Russian army's ability to strengthen certain areas is calculated either by individual battalions or, at best, by regiments," Selezniov said.

According to his estimates, "the enemy should not be under any illusions" about successes in the east of our country, as the conditions of warfare have changed.

"If the enemy was unable to realize its territorial claims in more comfortable conditions earlier, now, after the Ukrainian General Staff has sent the appropriate set of forces and means to the Pokrovske direction, it has very dim prospects," the expert concluded.
