Pletenchuk: All Russian warships have left the Sea of Azov

As of today, there are no Russian warships in the Sea of Azov at all. Moreover, earlier the Russian Federation tried to make this sea the internal waters of the aggressor country at the legislative level.

This was announced on the evening of July 24 by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, Captain Dmytro Pletenchuk, 3rd Rank. In his opinion, the Russian war criminals are on to something.

"There are no more Russian warships in the Sea of Azov. It seems that they have begun to suspect something," Pletenchuk said online.

In turn, the Ukrainians offered to "blow up any lock" of the Volga-Don Canal as "compensation for the Kakhovka lock."

Pletenchuk did not specify what exactly the Russian criminals might be suspecting, especially since virtually the entire coast of the Azov Sea is now occupied.

However, Russia recently complained about arrivals at the Kavkaz port in Krasnodar Krai. A railroad ferry and several invaders were attacked there. That is, Russians are not able to create any security zones even on their own territories, let alone in the occupied ones.

In addition, it is quite difficult to maneuver in the Sea of Azov.

"Navigation there is not easy, there are no such depths as in the Black Sea, the maximum is 15 meters," Pletenchuk said earlier.

According to him, a similar picture is observed in the Black Sea. Currently, only the remnants of the Russian fleet are based in Crimea. In general, the Russians have withdrawn all missile launchers from Crimea: three submarines of the Varshavyanka project and 5 ships - two frigates Makarov and Essen, as well as three vessels of the Buyan-M project.

The movement of the Russian fleet from Crimea to the port of Novorossiysk shows that the occupiers were not prepared for such long and intense hostilities, Pletenchuk argues.

Meanwhile, Sea Baby drones of the Security Service of Ukraine laid more than 15 underwater mines in the Black Sea near Crimea, which resulted in the damage to at least four occupiers' ships. Our defenders placed the explosives on routes used exclusively by the warships of the aggressor country.

According to minimal estimates, during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, our soldiers destroyed more than 20% of the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
