Occupiers attacked Khmelnytsky region

On the night of May 29, Russian occupation troops struck several facilities in the Khmelnytsky region, one of which turned out to be military. The attack resulted in fires, and five aircraft were also put out of action.

This was reported in the Telegram Khmelnitsky regional military administration. Rescuers are currently working to contain fires at fuel and lubricant depots and the storage of combat materiel.

Also, as noted in the regional military administration, restoration work on the runway has begun. Data on casualties are being clarified.

 

Recall: On the night of May 29, Russian terrorists launched 40 cruise missiles, 35 strike drones and a reconnaissance UAV into Ukrainian cities. Thanks to the work of air defense, 67 enemy air targets were neutralized.

It is noted that the occupants fired X-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles from nine Tu-95ms strategic airplanes from the Caspian Sea area. Iranian Shahed-136/131 UAVs were also launched in the northern and southern directions.

Ukraine's air defense system operated in the areas of responsibility of all air commands of the AFU Air Force: Center, East, South, and West.

As OBOZREVATEL reported:

- On May 29, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down a Russian missile over Lviv region. Its debris fell on the territory of Zolochevsky district and destroyed a wooden building, without casualties;

- also as a result of the fall of the ammunition debris, residential houses and infrastructure facilities in several districts of the Kyiv region were damaged. Ihor Sapozhko, mayor of Brovary, Kyiv region, specified that during the enemy attack several houses in the city "suffered damage from debris, mostly broken windows."
