On the night of October 28, Russian troops launched another missile attack on Ukraine. The invaders launched 4 Iskander cruise missiles on the territory of our country.

Three air targets were shot down by air defense forces. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"At about one in the morning on September 28, 2023, the occupiers launched a missile attack on the Dnipro region with four Iskander-K ground-launched cruise missiles. The missiles were launched from the Dzhankoy area of the temporarily occupied Crimea. The anti-aircraft missile units of the Vostok Air Command of the Ukrainian Air Force shot down three cruise missiles, while the fourth missed its target," the statement said.

The head of the Dnipro Regional Military Command, Serhiy Lysak, noted that three Russian missiles were destroyed over the Dnipro region at night.

"I am grateful to the defenders of the sky for protecting the Dnipropetrovsk region. Great job," he emphasized.

At the same time, Lysak noted that Russians shelled Marhanets twice with heavy artillery in the Nikopol district. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

As a reminder, the Dnipropetrovsk region came under enemy fire last night. Around 1:00 a.m., several explosions were heard in Dnipro and the surrounding area. Before that, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a missile threat in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kirovohrad regions.

Later, there were also reports of explosions in Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipro region.

It was also reported that on the evening of October 27, Russian troops struck the center of Kherson. Seven people were injured, more than a dozen residential buildings were damaged, and two were destroyed.
