The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko, confirmed the offensive actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kursk region. According to him, they came as a surprise to the Russians.

"In the Kursk region, the Russians are very worried because they were attacked in several directions and it came as a surprise to them. The defense forces are working," Kovalenko wrote on his official Telegram channel.
