On November 11, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell in Kyiv. This is the fifth visit of the head of European diplomacy to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

The President announced this on Telegram. Zelensky thanked Borrell for always being 100% on the side of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

The politicians talked about further cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, increasing military assistance, lifting restrictions on strikes on military targets in Russia, unblocking support under the European Peace Fund, and completing all procedures for providing Ukraine with $50 billion in accordance with the G7 decision.

Zelensky thanked the European Union and EU member states for their assistance to Ukraine, and expressed special gratitude for the initiative to provide the defense forces with 1 million pieces of artillery ammunition. The partners will fully implement it by the end of this year.

"Thank you for always being one hundred percent on our side, on the side of Ukraine, on the side of the Ukrainian people during this war. You don't need to tell us about the details of this war because you were always in Ukraine in difficult days. We could always count on you," the president said.
