On the night of October 12, Russian terrorists shelled a residential neighborhood in Kherson. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in a warehouse and an open storage area for industrial waste.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Telegram. The shelling was repeated several times, so the rescuers had to suspend their work and stay in a safe place and then return again.
"The fire was extinguished by morning," the statement said.
As the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin informed on Telegram, at least 23 settlements in the region came under Russian fire over the past day. The terrorists hit a medical facility, an administrative building, a cell tower, and residential neighborhoods, including a high-rise building and 15 private houses. Four people were injured.
