Explosions were heard in several regions of Ukraine: occupants launched missiles and UAVs

On the evening of Thursday, November 2, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. Explosions were heard in Poltava, Vinnytsia, and Lviv regions, as well as in Kropyvnytskyi and Kharkiv, where civilian objects were hit.

As of 21:00, an air alert was declared in eastern Ukraine - in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Donetsk regions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized in a Telegram post that it was related to the movement of enemy attack UAVs.

Later, the alert spread to other regions.

The explosion in Kharkiv was heard around 21:00, according to the Telegram channel"HS/Kharkiv". According to the authors, air defense systems were operating in the city. The information was later confirmed by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

"We thank the air defense forces. Do not ignore the air raid warning signals until they are over and do not film the air defense!" he said in a statement.

The channel of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region called on local residents to follow safety rules, not to come out of hiding and not to take photos and videos of arrivals or the work of the defenders of the sky.

The network also reported on the work of air defense in Poltava and Dnipro regions. The monitoring channel Monitor wrote that there were successful downings of UAVs in Poltava region.

As of 23:20, the alert was announced in most regions. It was related to the launch of missiles and drones by the occupiers. At around 23:15, the Air Force warned of the danger to Kropyvnytskyi, and a few minutes later an explosion occurred there.

According to theMykolaiv Vanek channel, Russian troops launched a missile, preliminarily an X-59, at the region.

Around 00:30, social media reported explosions in Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions. Monitoring channels reported that the occupiers had launched seven groups of attack drones across Ukraine.

Repeated explosions were also heard in Kharkiv at night. The mayor of the regional center, Igor Terekhov, said on his Telegram channel that there were hits on civilian objects in one of the city's districts.

"There is a fire, which is being localized by our rescuers. Information about the victims is being clarified," the mayor wrote.

Later, the spokesman for the regional prosecutor's office, Dmytro Chubenko, said that the occupiers had carried out about 10 drone strikes on Kharkiv and the suburbs, reportsSuspilne Kharkiv. Law enforcement officers recorded damage to private houses, an educational institution and a car in the Osnovyansky and Shevchenkivsky districts of the city.

At 2:00 a.m., explosions were heard in the Lviv region. The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, said that air defense was operating in the region and urged residents to take shelter.

"Air defense is working in the Lviv region. Stay in shelters!" he wrote.

Earlier, Kozytskyi noted that the occupiers' UAVs are in the airspace of Lviv region and the cities of Stryi and Morshyn are under threat.

After 3 a.m., the head of the OVA warned of a new UAV threat to Lviv and Yavoriv.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the morning of November 1, the Russian occupiers shelled the center of Kherson again. As a result of the attack, an employee of the city military administration was killed, two others were wounded, and one woman is in serious condition.
