In the context of full-scale warfare, Ukraine is rapidly developing unmanned systems technologies. The drones, which are being designed and developed by specialists from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, are currently capable of hitting legitimate military targets at a distance of up to 1,800 km.

A significant part of Russia's infrastructure working for the war - both on land, at sea and in the sky - was hit. This was stated by the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov in his greetings on the occasion of the Day of Military Intelligence.

"Unmanned systems, which are currently being developed by the best specialists, in particular, representatives of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, already allow to hit the military targets of the aggressor state at a distance of up to 1800 km. Military airfields, which are a source of constant threat to peaceful Ukrainian cities, are suffering from air attacks. Russia's entire war-fueled infrastructure is targeted and will continue to be under attack. Instead of defending its own, Russia has chosen the wrong path of unprovoked war and invasion of a sovereign state," he said.

Ukraine is also fighting back the aggressor state at sea. Therefore, it is time for the occupiers to realize that there is no safe place for them after an attack on our country, and sooner or later they will face retribution.

"This year, thanks to the successful actions of our military intelligence officers, we proved to the world that the Black Sea does not belong to Russia. We forced the enemy to move their fleet to a 'safe' distance, to leave the sea borders they had long considered their own. However, this is only an illusion of control. After all, having unleashed a large-scale aggression against Ukraine, there is no safe place for the Russian occupation army and its derivative structures. Punishment can be postponed but never canceled," Budanov warned.

It should be reminded that since 2022, DIU officers have been celebrating their professional day on September 7. This year, Zelenskyy, Syrskyi and Budanov, as well as their colleagues from all components and branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, congratulated them on the holiday.
