On the eve of the next Ramstein meeting, which will be held on October 12 at the level of leaders, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy named two things that can stop Russian aggression. These are the determination of our partners and the strengthening of Ukraine.

Our delegation will present the famous victory plan, which consists of clear, specific steps for a just end to the war, to the coalition members. The Ukrainian leader announced this on Telegram.

"October 12. A new Ramstein meeting. This time - at the level of leaders. This is when we will present our Victory Plan to all partners who really help. We have a clear strategy on how to bring a just end to the war closer," Zelenskyy said in the video.

"The plan provides for the necessary strengthening of Ukraine. We have already started discussions with the United States as a leader of support. We are engaging all partners," the president said.

"The determination of the partners must be steadfast. We need broader weapon range. We need to strengthen our positions at the front. And this is the kind of pressure on Russia that will force peace," the Ukrainian leader added.

Ramstein is an association of more than 50 countries to support the Ukrainian army. The coalition coordinates the provision of assistance to Ukraine, including shells, artillery, air defense systems, aviation, and much more. The first Ramstein meeting took place at the Ramstein Air Base in the German city of Ramstein-Miesenbach, which is why it was named so, on April 26, 2022. This will be the 25th meeting.

Earlier, Zelenskyy said that Kyiv had already begun preparations for Ramstein, which is scheduled for October. There, he shared, "we must decide together with other leaders on common steps and a common vision of how to increase pressure on Russia for this war and for the sake of peace, a just peace."

On October 1, the Romanian parliament approved the request of Romanian President Klaus Iohannis to establish a training center for Ukrainian soldiers on Romanian territory. It is a base for training Ukrainian marines.
