AFU to de-occupy Bakhmut and two other key towns: Zelensky shares a detailed plan of counter-offensive
President Volodymyr Zelensky says the Ukrainian Armed Forces will de-occupy Bakhmut and two other key cities. According to him, the Ukrainian command already has a plan for this.
The head of state made the statement during a discussion with American journalists in Washington, D.C. on September 21, CNN reports. "We will de-occupy Bakhmut. I think we will de-occupy two more cities. I won't tell you which cities, sorry. We have a plan. A very, very detailed plan," Zelensky said.
He added that last year Ukrainian troops gained experience fighting in wet and cold weather in the fall and winter.
"We cannot stop in winter. My answer is that we will do everything we can to keep going through the difficult days of the fall and winter with bad weather," USA Today quoted him as saying.
