The day before, on May 24, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,140 Russian invaders. The enemy's irreversible losses have now exceeded half a million occupants.

Also, 102 pieces of enemy military equipment and weapons were destroyed or damaged over the previous day. Updated data on Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine were published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces on the morning of May 25.

Thus, having eliminated 1140 invaders, the Defense Forces brought the enemy's losses in manpower during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to about 500,080 people.

The enemy was actively losing equipment the day before. In particular, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 15 tanks (in total, the invaders have already lost 7,650 units of this type of equipment since February 24, 2022), 11 armored combat vehicles (14,786 in total), 27 artillery systems (12929 in total), two MLRS (1,082) and one air defense system (814).

The number of aircraft destroyed was the same as the day before: 356 in total and 326 helicopters. There were no cruise missiles yesterday, so a total number of 2,209 that were destroyed remains the same.

In the new report, the total number of operational and tactical UAVs lost by the enemy was adjusted due to the updated intelligence data: together with the four drones shot down the day before, the enemy lost 10,414 units.

27 Russian ships/boats were hit by the Defense Forces. On May 24, the enemy lost 39 vehicles (17608 in total) and three special vehicles (2104 in total).

On May 23, it was reported that Ukrainian defenders shot down two enemy Su-25s in two days. One downed enemy warplane was also included in the General Staff's report on the morning of May 24.

Also on May 24, Shemy journalists released fresh satellite images of the aftermath of the drone attack on the Kushchevska airfield in Krasnodar Krai. They clearly show at least two damaged fighter jets, and one more is in question.
