"Active hostilities are underway": Syniehubov denies enemy's capture of Dvorichna in Kharkiv region

On January 28, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the alleged occupation of the village of Dvorichna. Meanwhile, fighting continues in the village, so there is "no reason to talk about its capture."

This statement was made by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, during a conversation with the media, Ukrinform reports. The official added that this is not the first time that Russian invaders have claimed the "liberation" of this settlement.

According to Syniehubov, the situation on the front line in the Kharkiv region remains difficult. However, he called the statements of the Russian invaders about the alleged seizure of Dvorichna in Kupyansk district groundless.

"The Kupyansk and Borivsk directions are more difficult (than the Kharkiv direction – Ed.). Active hostilities are taking place on the territory of Dvorichna, and the area of hostilities is increasing. This is not the first statement of this kind (by the Russian Defense Ministry – Ed.), it has already been published in the Russian media, it is pure propaganda, and it is not in line with reality. Yes, there is fighting on the territory of the settlement, and there is no reason to say that it has been captured," says Syniehubov.

On January 20, the Deep State project announced the advance of Russian troops in Dvorichna.

On January 28, the invaders from the Russian Defense Ministry announced the alleged complete occupation of this village, which the aggressor state calls "liberation." In their messages (and there was more than one dedicated to the alleged occupation of Dvorichna on the Russian Ministry of Defense's Telegram channel that day), the invaders could not resist the pathos of "decisive actions of the units of the 'West' military grouping and, in particular, the occupation brigade fighting in the area of this village.

On January 26, the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied Russian claims about the occupation of Velyka Novosilka: the military said that the fighting for the settlement was ongoing and described the situation and the balance of forces.
