A series of explosions occurred in occupied Donetsk: smoke is visible in several districts of the city. Photos and video
On May 26, a series of powerful explosions took place in occupied Donetsk. Thick clouds of smoke were seen in several areas of the city, and the occupation authorities reported one death.
According to local media reports, citing eyewitnesses, about 5-6 explosions occurred in a short period of time, around 08:40 am. The occupiers traditionally accused the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the shelling (video is available at the bottom of the news).
It is alleged that the Pokrovsky market areaallegedly came under fire, killing one person. According to preliminary information, the victim was a 37-year-old woman.
The head of the occupation administration of Donetsk, Aleksey Kulemzin, said that the building of the Research Institute of Explosion-proof and Mine Electrical Equipment was shelled and posted several photos of the aftermath.
According to Kulemzin, "6 rockets from MLRS arrived in Donetsk".
"According to preliminary information, as a result of shelling of the Kalininsky district, a direct hit was recorded in the building of the Research Institute in the Pokrovsky market area," the occupation "mayor" said.
