On the morning of November 17, Russia attacked Kyiv with attack drones and missiles. A drone fragment caught fire on theroof of a residential building in the Pechersk district, injuring two people.

Missile and drone fragments also fell in a number of other areas of the city. This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko.

"In a house in the Pechersk district, one woman was hospitalized, and another victim was treated on the spot by doctors," he added.

According to the Kyiv State Emergency Service, the shelling caused a fire on an area of 0.5 square meters and partial destruction of the ceiling of the five-story building. One of the apartments on the fifth floor was also damaged.

"As a result, one person was injured and 30 others were evacuated to the fresh air. Twenty-six firefighters and six pieces of equipment were involved in the aftermath," the statement said.

For its part, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that the capital was hit by a combined missile and drone strike.

In Holosiivsky district, a piece of an enemy missile fell near the Silpo supermarket: preliminary, no damage or casualties.

In Desniansky district, there was a fall of debris, probably from a UAV, in an open area, the remains of the drone fell on the roof of an unfinished building.

In the Dniprovsky district, in Rusanivka, the drone's wreckage fell on the green area of the park and probably into a pond. No damage or injuries were reported, Klychko said.

The KCMA warned that due to the threat of a missile attack, Kyiv may introduce emergency power outage schedules. They emphasized that this is a preventive measure.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, during a Russian drone attack on November 16 in the Obolon district of the capital, balconies and windows in a high-rise building were damaged due to the fall of downed UAVs. There was no information about the victims.
