"Why is Ukraine bombing us but we aren't? Are we sure everything is going according to plan?": Russians absolutely lose it after AFU's precise strike on oil refinery in Saratov

On the night of February 11, drones targeted several Russian regions. In particular, a fire broke out at a refinery in Saratov as a result of precise strikes: even local authorities acknowledged damage to the enterprise, while propagandists wrote about an "attempted attack."

However, such wording, as well as Ukraine's constant mocking of enterprises that are crucial for Russian economy, made Russians throw a big tantrum. While leaving comments below the news about the hit, they demanded strikes on Ukraine and expressed doubts that this was the part of "SMO."

On the morning of February 11, one of the popular pro-war channels reported that "AFU drones attacked several Russian cities" and that "a fire broke out at an enterprise in Saratov."

"In Saratov, Russian air defense forces have been destroying UAVs since the morning. Ukrainian drones attempted to attack a refinery, local channels write. There is damage at an industrial enterprise in Saratov, according to the governor of the region, Roman Busargin," the message says.

The wording, which Russians see constantly, caused indignation.

"Attempted to attack? Do you take us for morons?!", "Everything was shot down, it was just debris really", "Not a single piece of debris fell? Are you kidding me?", "Did they shoot down the debris too or something still fell?" Russians write.

Other compatriots are outraged by the "too few" strikes on Ukraine and accuse Ukraine of "sabotage" against "humane" Russia.

"How much longer will this be going on and why Ukrainians continue to sleep and work peacefully?", "A brotherly nation. When will the Kremlin stop beating around the bush in the name of friendship?!", "I can't read such news. How long we have to go through this? Our humanity is cannoning off. Why do we pity them?", "The Sea Battle does not end, so we will continue to stay aside! I'm really tired of this lagging, when will we start to respond to these creatures the right way? Everyone knows everything but does nothing!" the "friendly" Russians write.

Many Russians are outraged that instead of freely wiping out Ukrainian cities and seizing Ukrainian land, Russia is now forced to fight back and still cannot liberate Kursk region seized by AFU. Some are even suggesting that the "SMO" has gone somewhat off track.

"We have to ask again where the red lines are and whether we need to talk about them at all. Okay, we can forget about the strikes on new Russian territories, but the territory of Kursk region was a clear red line. The gradual realization among Russians that Ukraine is consistently taking out Russian oil and gas, as well as military facilities while the Russian army is doing nothing to stop it is also adding fuel to the fire. Some, however, are still trying to cling to the illusory hope that the drones are not coming from Ukraine as they fly up to hundreds or even more than a thousand kilometers. However, the overall mood is quite depressive.

As a reminder, last night drones attacked Saratov Oil Refinery. The military airfield in neighboring Engels was also targeted.

It is reported that a massive fire broke out at the refinery after the hit. Saratov Oil Refinery is one of the key facilities of Russian fuels infrastructure.
