British Foreign Secretary David Cameron has arrived on his first working visit to Ukraine. The British politician has already held talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Head of State noted that he had discussed with Cameron the supply of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, the strengthening of air defense. Zelensky posted this on his Telegram.

According to the President of Ukraine, during the meeting with the British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, special attention was paid to the protection of civilians and critical infrastructure.

"David Cameron, the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and Development, made his first working visit to Ukraine in his new position. A good meeting. Weapons for the front, strengthening air defense, protecting our people and critical infrastructure. I am grateful to the UK for its support," Zelensky said.

During the meeting with Zelensky, the British Foreign Secretary said that he personally admired the strength and determination of the Ukrainian people. He also added that his visit to Kyiv is a confirmation that Britain will continue to provide moral, diplomatic, economic, and above all military support.

In turn, Zelensky noted that the world's support may now be divided due to the crisis in the Middle East. However, the president emphasized that this may not be the last crisis, particularly in Europe.
