Ukrainian defenders destroy enemy's Pantsir-S1 worth $15 million in Kherson region

Nothing left but smoke from the installation

Ukrainian defenders continue to bring the victory over Russian aggression closer. At the frontline, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively destroying the enemy and its equipment.

Recently, in Kherson region, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed an enemy Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile system. The cost of this system is $15 million. The corresponding video was published on the Telegram channel of the Defense Forces of South of Ukraine.

"The occupiers in Kherson region were left without a protective shell... Our soldiers have uncompromisingly "mined" the Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile system! The weaker the enemy's defense, the more powerful the pressure of our soldiers," the footage is captioned.

The video shows how the Ukrainian Armed Forces are aiming at the target and hitting it accurately. As a result, nothing but smoke remains of the installation.

Earlier, the occupiers also lost another anti-aircraft missile and gun system. The new Pantsir-S1, which was in service with the Russian Armed Forces, was seized by the Ukrainian terrorist defense.

It should be noted that Pantsir-S1 is a Russian self-propelled ground-based anti-aircraft missile and gun system.

It was developed by the Tula-based Design Bureau of Instrumentation. The SAM is designed to provide close cover for civilian and military targets (including long-range air defense systems) against all modern and advanced air attack weapons. It can also protect the object from ground and surface threats.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, one Pantsir-S1 was captured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kherson region. Another such complex was "squeezed out" by the terrorist defense fighters of Bashtanka in Mykolaiv region. In total, a convoy of enemy vehicles was captured there.
