The Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated another settlement in Donetsk Oblast, killing fifty occupants and capturing several. Thus, our national flag is once again flying in the village of Storozhove, Volnovakha district.

This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar on June 12. Soldiers of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrogradsky, who liberated the village, published a video (to view it, scroll to the end of the news).

The footage shows soldiers from the 88th separate battalion of the said brigade. They are advancing through a settlement where the occupants have destroyed houses. In front of one of them the defenders unfurled a blue and yellow banner.

"Personnel of the 88th Separate Marine Battalion liberated Storozhevoye. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Marines," one of the soldiers noted in the background of the shelling.

"The national flag is flying over Storozhove again, and so it will be with every settlement until we liberate all Ukrainian soil. Thanks to the 35th separate battalion of marines. To be continued... Glory to Ukraine!" - commented a representative of the Ministry of Defense.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, according to ISW, on June 10-11 Ukrainian units succeeded south of Velyka Novoselka in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. It was noted that the AFU liberated the settlements of Blagodatnoye, Makarivka, Neskuchne, Storozhove and Novodarivka.
