Ukrainian Armed Forces conduct successful counterattacks near Avdiivka, depriving occupants of full control over Stepove - British intelligence

In particular, as a result of successful counterattacks, the Ukrainian Armed Forces deprived the occupiers of full control over the village of Stepove. This was reported by the UK military intelligence on the social network X.

British intelligence noted that over the past week, Avdiivka in Donetsk region continued to be the scene of the most intense fighting at the front. On some days, about 40% of all hostilities took place in this small area.

The intelligence agency also emphasized that Russian offensive operations were characterized mainly by infantry attacks. Most often, the Russian command used the Storm Z unit for meaty assaults.

In turn, Ukrainian units in the Avdiivka sector conducted successful counterattacks. During the fighting, the Ukrainian Armed Forces drove the Russian invaders out of the village of Stepove. British intelligence emphasized that it was through this area that the Russian aggressor country tried to surround Avdiivka and the well-protected industrial zone within the city.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces counterattacked in the area of the Avdiivka Coke Plant, which Russia is making great efforts to seize. Ukrainian soldiers forced the occupiers to retreat from two advanced positions.

Earlier it was reported that more than 100 relatives of the occupiers complained to dictator Vladimir Putin about "signs of deliberate extermination" of those mobilized near Avdiivka, Donetsk region of Ukraine.
