Soldiers of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recently showed exceptional heroism and professionalism. During one of the operations, two Ukrainian paratroopers managed to captured 14 Russian occupants at once.

This was reported by the press service of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Before attacking the enemy position, they used kamikaze drones.

The long and powerful raid forced the Russian soldiers to hide in a dugout, where they remained blocked, unable to resist. It was at this point that two Ukrainian soldiers approached as close as possible and threw grenades at the entrance to the dugout.

The occupiers, realizing the desperate situation, immediately raised their hands and threw down their weapons. As it turned out, there were as many as 14 Russian soldiers at the position who chose life over death.

A video shot by night drones shows Ukrainian paratroopers leading the prisoners out in a line, demonstrating their confidence and control over the situation.

The captured Russians said that constant drone attacks did not give them any chance to escape.

"We were captured by two paratroopers. The guys did well, because they in the right place at the right time. They came in and gave us a chance. They said you will live and that's it. At night, we were shelled, three times a night. That's why it was very difficult to get out of the dugout. We were lucky that we remained unharmed," the occupants said.

The Ukrainian heroes are set to receive state awards for their brilliant operation. This case once again emphasizes the courage and great skills of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
