Two pensioners from Ivano-Frankivsk and Kyiv purchased kamikaze drones for Ukrainian defenders. The UAVs will be handed over to the soldiers of the 10th Edelweiss Mountain Assault Brigade.
The women saved up their pensions to buy the "birds" that would help destroy the enemy. This was reported by the press service of the Rozhniativ village council.
"With such people, we will defeat the enemy! The act of two pensioners is worth repeating!" the statement reads.
It is noted that two kamikaze drones were purchased by Liudmyla Skubrieva, who lives in Rozhniativ, and Halyna Hil, a resident of Kyiv.
They raised almost twenty thousand hryvnias each from their pensions.
"Such a contribution is admirable and inspiring, it gives us faith in the Victory," the village council emphasized.
They thanked the women for such a significant contribution to our soldiers and informed them that the birds, which are merciless to the enemy, are on their way to the 10th Edelweiss Mountain Assault Brigade.
