On September 14, 2023, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Tank Forces for the first time, dedicated to the anniversary of the successful completion of the Kharkiv offensive in the city of Izium. President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded its participants and other defenders who skillfully operate combat vehicles on the front line.

"When we greet our heroic tank troops and thank them, we thank them precisely because they return freedom, life and faith of our people in victory to Ukraine and make our forces stronger," the guarantor emphasized.

Zelensky did not forget about the heroes who were killed in the war. Our state will do everything to ensure that the names of these people are engraved on the eternal stone of national history.

"I wish you strength of spirit and health. I wish your loved ones and children health so that they always motivate and support you. Those who have them. Those who don't have children will have them," the president concluded.
