There is a "special" reason: Bratchuk explained why Russians attack Odesa region

Aggressor hits port infrastructure on the Danube River

The night drone attack on the Odesa region may be connected with the meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin scheduled for September 4. Moscow is traditionally trying to create the "information background" it needs.

This was told by the head of the Public Council at the Odesa RMA Serhiy Bratchuk on the air of the TV marathon on September 3. "We can link the attack on the port infrastructure on the Danube River and the fact that a meeting between Mr. Erdogan with a bunker resident will take place in the RFon September 4," he said.

According to Bratchuk, Russia always tries to create an "appropriate information background" before important international meetings, even if international organizations or Ukraine are not involved.

He also expressed hope that the grain agreement would work in a new format without Russia's participation.

"I still hope that this grain deal will have a new format without the participation of the Russian Federation because we see that it can work well without it. This country is an aggressor, a terrorist and it is necessary to put them in their place," Bratchuk said.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- The occupiers attacked the Odesa region with 25 drones on the night of September 3. Air Defense destroyed 22 targets, but some of them hit port infrastructure.

- Erdogan intends to visit the Russian Federation and meet with Putin. This visit will be a crucial step to extend the agreement on the "grain corridor", sources from the entourage of the Turkish President said.
