"There are successes in destroying the occupants": Zelensky noted Ukrainian soldiers from Bakhmut direction

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has recognized Ukrainian soldiers who have achieved significant success in destroying Russian occupants in the Bakhmut direction of the front. He thanked the rescuers and fighters of the Lyut brigade of the Offensive Guards.

The head of state said this during his traditional evening address to the Ukrainian people on August 7. According to him, these successes are very important (to view the video, scroll to the end of the page).

"Front. I note the Bakhmut direction. The 3rd and 5th separate assault brigades, the assault brigade of the National Police Lyut, the 92nd separate mechanized brigade. There are successes in destroying the occupiers, important successes. I thank you, warriors!" - stated the guarantor.

In addition, the President recognized the employees of the State Emergency Service of Kherson region: Vitaliy Murzenko and Volodymyr Yavtushenko, employees of the State Emergency Service of Kharkiv region: Serhiy Gladkikh and Andriy Solyanikov.

He also thanked the workers of the State Emergency Service of Dnipropetrovsk region: Kostyantyn Poturaiko and Vitaliy Denisenko, and all the workers of the State Emergency Service of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Zaporizhzhya, Odessa region, and the entire staff of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

At the same time, the President expressed condolences to the relatives of Colonel Andriy Omelchenko, deputy head of the State Emergency Situations Service in Donetsk region, who was killed as a result of shelling of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, by Russian troops on the evening of August 7.
