The price of Russia's victory will be much higher than the cost of aid for Ukraine, - Polish Foreign Minister
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has called on the United States Congress and European states to step up efforts to help Ukraine fight the Russian invasion. He expressed confidence that new defense packages for the Ukrainian army will be allocated soon.
The Polish minister wrote about this on his account on the social network X (formerly known as Twitter) on Sunday, January 14. He reminded states of the price they will be forced to pay if the aggressor country achieves its criminal goals in Ukraine.
According to Sikorsky, this price will be many times higher than the price of the assistance that the Ukrainian state so desperately needs.
The Foreign Minister recalled the good news from Kyiv, when British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced the allocation of another 2.5 billion pounds to Ukraine.
"I believe that further aid packages will soon be approved by both the US Congress and EU member states," he wrote.
Earlier, Sikorsky called for Ukraine to be provided with long-range missiles to destroy launch sites from which Russia launches missiles and drones, as well as command centers. He also called on the West to tighten sanctions against Russia and cut off the channels of smuggling components for missile production to Russia.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, US President Joe Biden said that Republicans will have to "pay for a lot" if they do not provide financial assistance to Ukraine. He urged them not to block this process.
