Russian statements about the alleged complete capture of the cities of Toretsk and Chasiv Yar are not true. The contact line in the latter settlement has now been stabilized, and in general, the Russian occupiers have reduced the number of assaults in eastern Ukraine.

At the same time, the enemy is actively amassing manpower, equipment, and ammunition. This was stated by Anastasia Bobovnikova, spokesperson for the Luhansk operational and tactical group, on November 1 on the We Are Ukraine TV show.

"In our area of responsibility, you can see a certain decrease in the number of attacks. However, we see the enemy amassing reserves, bringing manpower to the frontline, stockpiling ammunition, preparing equipment, equipping them with electronic warfare devices," she said.

After Russian troops complete their preparations, the number of assaults is likely to increase again.

According to the spokeswoman, the Russian army continues to use the tactics of small assault infantry groups, as it has already proven effective. The occupiers also focused on the work of sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

"One, two, or three people cross the canal in the town of Chasiv Yar, hide in basements and holes. The goal is to accumulate as much as possible before the assault. However, such attempts are detected," said Bobovnikova.

Commenting on the invaders' words about the situation in Chasiv Yar and Toretsk, she denied the information about the occupation of these settlements. In Chasiv Yar, the enemy did not cross the channel and did not gain a foothold, and the contact line there is currently stabilized.
