The footage from the tests was posted on the Security Service of Ukraine's Telegram. They noted that the Sea baby 2024 is a new generation drone, improved and even more deadly for the enemy .

The SSU Head Vasyl Malyuk is convinced that "the future belongs to technological approaches in warfare," so the SSU is trying to be the first in this.

"We have trained unique specialists in maritime drones to further improve and scale the work on clearing the Black Sea of the enemy. Our task is to destroy the occupiers and bring the Victory closer," the head of the special service emphasized.

The SSU said that each of the drones will undergo a full cycle of sea trials, during which the latest onboard weapons will be adapted. It was designed and manufactured specifically for Sea Baby.

A SSU brigadier general with the call sign "Hunter" said that the new drones are more maneuverable and can carry more weight.

"It is capable of delivering almost a ton of explosives over a distance of over a thousand kilometers. The SSU conceived this drone as a universal platform that will be able to carry various weapons," the military said.

As a reminder, funds for 35 Sea Baby drones in the amount of more than UAH 300 million were raised in two days. The fundraising was launched jointly by the UNITED24 fundraising platform, monobank, and volunteers Sergiy Sternenko and Ihor Lachenkov. The cost of one drone is UAH 8.5 million.

Large Ukrainian businesses contributed to the collection: Uklon, Nova Poshta, Enjoy the wood, INTERTOP, Accordbank, VARUS, ANC pharmacy chain, and many others.

Sea Baby drones are currently credited with blowing up the Crimean bridge and 11 Russian warships.

- Earlier, Malyuk said that Ukraine is working to knock out all Russian missile carriers from the Ukrainian Black Sea. For this purpose, the SSU uses two types of drones of its own production.

- Another development of Ukraine is MAGURA V5 maritime drones. On February 14, 2024, they sank the Russian warship Caesar Kunikov, and on March 5, the patrol ship Sergey Kotov. This surface drone can carry about 300 kg of warhead.
