The enemy is constantly testing the Ukrainian defense in Kharkiv region: the National Guard told about the situation

The Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv region have not changed their intentions – they will continue to advance if given the chance. The enemy is probing Ukrainian positions, but the Defense Forces are trying to be proactive.

Volodymyr Degtyarev, a representative of the public relations service of the 13th Operational Brigade of the National Guard "Charter", told Kyiv24 TV channel. According to him, the concept of defense at the front is rather conditional.

"This is a constant probing of our positions, our constant proactive actions to see earlier, as far as possible into the enemy's positions, their movements, logistics routes, to cut them off, not to allow them to accumulate and to take countermeasures somewhere," noted Degtyarev.

As a reminder, in August 2024, soldiers of the 71st separate hunting brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized almost 1200 Russian occupiers in their area of responsibility, killing and wounding them. The invaders are returning home in the 200th and 300th after short excursions to Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. All the replenishment that the enemy throws at this direction is quickly running out.

– The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine fired mortars at the fortifications that the occupiers are trying to equip in the Vovchansk direction. The SBGSU soldiers also hit trench lines and places of concentration of enemy manpower.

– The State Border Guard Service soldiers, who are fighting at the front along with other units of the Defense Forces, have demonstrated new attacks on the enemy Russian troops. The soldiers managed to hit enemy manpower and equipment in the Vovchansk direction in the north of Kharkiv region.
