The Ukrainian Defense Forces advanced up to 700 meters in the Bakhmut direction. During the day, our soldiers eliminated and wounded at least a hundred and fifty occupants and took several more prisoners.

This was reported by the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the AFU Serhiy Cherevatiy in the air of the telethon. According to him, near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, position battles continue.

"The enemy is trying to counterattack, but to no avail. We continued to counterattack where we could, and on the flanks we passed from 250 to 700 meters, displacing the enemy," the colonel noted.

In the language of numbers, he stressed that there were three combat clashes in the Bakhmut direction during the day. The Russian occupants shelled Ukrainian positions 249 times with various types of artillery and carried out two air raids.

At the same time, AFU fighters eliminated 66 Russian invaders during counterattacks, wounded 86 more, and took three prisoners.

Earlier, the Institute for the Study of War, citing Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar, noted that during June 10-11, the AFU also advanced 300-1500 meters south of Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region. Such settlements as Makarivka, Neskuchne, Blagodatne, Storozhove and Novodarivka were reported to have been liberated.

On June 11, the Defense Forces confirmed the liberation of Blagodatne, and on June 12 - Storozhove in the Donetsk region, where defenders raised the Ukrainian flag. It also turned out that Novodarivka our soldiers dismissed back on June 4.
