The death toll in Kyiv rises after the December 29 attack by the occupiers: five more bodies are pulled from the rubble
Rescuers found the bodies of five more people at the site of a missile attack in Kyiv on December 29. This brings the total number of victims of the Russian terrorist attack to 28.
Also, 30 people were injured. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
A search and rescue operation is underway at the site of the destruction. The city administration also reminded that January 1 was officially declared a Day of Mourning in the capital.
"Unfortunately, the bodies of the victims of the missile strike are still being found. Rescuers have removed another body from the rubble. As of this moment, the missile strike on December 29 has killed 28 people," the statement said.
The day before, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko emphasized that the Russian attack on the capital on December 29 was the largest in terms of civilian casualties.
As a reminder, on the night of December 28-29, the terrorist country of Russia attacked Kyiv with several dozen missiles of various types. Air defense forces destroyed all air targets in the sky over the capital, but unfortunately, there are destructions and casualties in the city.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, as a result of a missile attack on the night of December 28-29, men were wounded and residential buildings were damaged in Kyiv region. Criminal proceedings have been opened over the incident.
