On Thursday, July 4, the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Wieslaw Kukula, arrived in Kyiv. He held talks with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

This was reported on the social network of the Polish General Staff and on the Ukrainian military leader's Telegram. The working visit began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen Ukrainian Defenders.

"This is another important meeting between the two commanders, which demonstrates the solidarity and cooperation between Poland and our eastern neighbor in the face of Russian aggression," the Polish General Staff said.

Syrsky emphasized that Poland has been a reliable partner of Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.

"We appreciate Poland's military and technical assistance and diplomatic support. We are also grateful for the assistance in training our units that have already come to the defense of the state," the Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief emphasized.

- Polish Vice Prime Minister Vladyslav Kosyniak-Kamysh said that at the July NATO summit in Washington, Poland will announce the operational readiness of the NATO-Ukraine training center. This is the first real unit of its kind.

- Germany and Poland agreed to cooperate on strengthening military assistance to Ukraine. Following intergovernmental consultations in Warsaw, the "Polish-German Action Plan" was adopted.

- Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski expressed his belief that the best scenario for ending the war in Ukraine is not negotiations with Russia, but an increase in military aid to Kyiv so that the country can recapture all the territories seized by the occupiers. The aggressor must realize that it cannot win.
