The AFU has an advance in the Bakhmut direction: Syrskyi showed a spectacular video of NLAW and Javelin usage

The armed forces recaptured territories previously occupied

The Ukrainian defenders continue to repel enemy attacks and also carry out counterattacks in some areas of the front. Thus, AFU has success and is moving forward in the Bakhmut direction.

It was reported by the commander of the Ground Forces of the AFU, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi. Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to recapture territories previously occupied by the enemy near Bakhmut.

The commander published footage of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade in the vicinity of Bakhmut. Two effective shots destroyed an enemy tank.

"The video shows the work of the 3rd Brigade in the vicinity of the town of Bakhmut. Two shots from the NLAW and Javelin and the occupants' T-80 tank turned into metal scrap," Syrskyi wrote under the video.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky explained why the counteroffensive of the AFU slowed down. Thus, for a long time Ukraine has been preparing for the counteroffensive of the AFU at the front. However, in recent months it has slowed down. The reason for this, according to the President, was bad weather.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhniy, said that he was "infuriated" by complaints that the long-awaited counteroffensive of the AFU had allegedly started slower than expected. He noted that despite the difficulties, the Ukrainian defenders are advancing every day.
