SSU bypassed "jammers" and smuggled 21 tons of explosives: Maliuk revealed details of the first attack on the Crimean bridge

The head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk has revealed the details of the first attack on the Crimean bridge, which was carried out in the fall of 2022. To smuggle 21 tons of explosives unnoticed, the SSU officers wrapped it with packing film. The truck transporting these rolls is what exploded on the bridge.

Maliuk shared the details of the attack in an interview with NV. The SSU also showed photos of the preparation for the special operation. According to the head of the special service, such film thickness was selected so that scanners at checkpoints would not notice hexogen (high explosives).

The SSU also "bypassed" the special GPS jammers on the Crimean Bridge. Therefore, the cargo inside the "film" flew into the air in the middle of the bridge on October 8, 2022.

"We went through seven circles of hell and used so many Russians!" Maliuk said.

According to him, an officer with the call sign "Hunter" played a big role in organizing the second attack on the Crimean Bridge in July 2023.

He did a lot to create marine drones, which damaged Putin's Bridge. The amount of hexogen was increased to 850 kilograms.

The drone control system was also modernized, yielding a qualitatively new model of surface "avenger".

The remotely controlled kamikaze drones were made of a unique material, invisible to enemy radar stations. The drones were designed to have three types of control and self-destruct if necessary.

"It was an inexpressible feeling. When the explosion occurred, we were screaming very loudly because the tension inside was enormous," Maliuk said. He designed and supervised the special operation personally.

The head of the SSU emphasized that the Crimean Bridge is a legitimate target for Ukraine and the Geneva Conventions do not prohibit attacking such objects.
