On Friday, 2 June, an enemy Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system was destroyed in Kursk. In addition, several Su-34 combat aircraft were damaged as a result of an attack by attack UAVs on the Vostochny airfield.

This was reported by the Brothers in Arms Telegram channel. Several houses were damaged as a result of spontaneous firing from the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system (to see the photos, scroll down to the end).

"On 2 June 2023, during a night attack by attack UAVs on the Vostochny airfield in Kursk, several Su-34 combat aircraft were damaged and the Pantsir-S1 air defence missile and gun system was completely destroyed," the statement said.

The exact number of aircraft is still being verified.

The source also said that ammunition spontaneously flew out of the Pantsir-S1, damaging several residential buildings in Kursk.
