Russians strike at residential neighborhood in Kharkiv: one person killed
On Wednesday, March 27, Russian occupants struck Kharkiv, hitting apartment buildings. As a result of the terrorist shelling of a residential neighborhood of the city, there were killed and wounded.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Oleg Syniehubov in Telegram. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov also reported on the situation in the city on his Telegram channel.
According to Syniehubov, the Russians struck twice in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv.
"Civilian residential infrastructure has been damaged," the head of the military administration said.
According to Mr. Syniehubov, one person was killed and at least ten people sustained injuries of varying degrees. Four children are among the wounded. He later clarified that a civilian man was killed.
"The attack hit a residential neighborhood in Kharkiv, apartment buildings. There are dead and wounded. This is another act of bloody terror against Ukrainians," the mayor wrote.
Terekhov clarified that the number of wounded has increased to 12 and may continue to grow.
"There are already 12 wounded. We are going around the apartments in the affected buildings. We are looking for those who need help," the mayor wrote.
Currently, the relevant services are inspecting the hit sites. The type of weapon that was used to strike the city is also being established.
Subsequently, Syniehubov said that according to preliminary data, today the enemy struck Kharkiv for the first time with a large-caliber guided munition.
As of 17:00, the number of wounded increased to 16, the mayor said.
We remind you that the day before, in the afternoon of March 26, Russian occupants also struck the civilian residential infrastructure of Kharkiv, there were hits in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The enemy attack hit a residential area, fortunately, there were no injured or killed.
