Russians launched a missile strike on a residential area in Zaporizhzhia, damaging several buildings
On Tuesday evening, November 21, Russian occupation forces launched another missile attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia. A residential area in the regional center came under fire, resulting in damage to several houses of local residents.
Yurii Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, reported this on Telegram. The explosion in Zaporizhzhia occurred around 20:43.
The enemy missile struck an open area. The type of weapon used by the Russians to attack the city is currently under investigation.
Emergency services did not receive any reports of injuries as a result of the enemy attack.
At the same time, the JMA reported that several private houses were damaged by the blast wave during the shelling.
Anatolii Kurtev, Secretary of Zaporizhzhia City Council, stated that windows, doors, and roofs were damaged in 21 private houses. Additionally, some buildings were left without electricity, but power companies began restoring power immediately after the shelling.
As OBOZ.UA reported, on the evening of November 17, Russian troops tried to attack an infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia. The enemy used Shahed-type kamikaze attack drones.
