The Ukrainian Armed Forces have broken through two lines of fortifications in the Kursk region

Active hostilities have been taking place in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation for several days. Loud explosions have been heard in Russian border settlements.

In turn, Kremlin propagandists complain that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already broken through two lines of defense. Russian Telegram channels write about this.

The Russian media are spreading a map of the fighting in the Kursk region, which allegedly shows the real situation on the battlefield. Based on this information, Ukrainian soldiers have taken control of more than 10 border settlements in the Kursk region.

At the same time, Russian propagandists threw a tantrum and accused the country's military and political leadership of incompetence. The Russians claim that the Ukrainian Armed Forces broke through two lines of fortifications, for which Russian officials spent 15 billion rubles.

There was also information that railroad traffic was partially restricted in the Kursk region. In particular, the stations of Sudzha, Korenevo, and Psyol were temporarily closed.

As a reminder, active hostilities in the Kursk region came as a surprise to the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation. These events were the first time since World War II that the army of another country invaded Russia.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region have advanced up to 10 kilometers into Russia. Defense Forces armored vehicles have taken up positions along the 38K-030 Sudzha – Korenevo highway.
